2017 GMC Sierra

The 2017 GMC Sierra is one beast of a pick-up. Offering an luxurious interior that tops most of the competition, along with smart technology, the GMC Sierra is not your ordinary pick-up. One of the best things about the GMC Sierra, however, is the vehicle’s towing capacity, which is higher than any other pick-up in its class. The GMC Sierra can tow a maximum of 12,500 pounds which is a heck of a lot – more than enough to hitch a trailer. Never before has the GMC Sierra’s towing capacity been so high. Also new for the 2017 GMC Sierra are new driver assistance features.

The base trim offers an array of standard features. Drivers

can expect such features as cloth or vinyl upholstery, a 4.2-inch display, USB ports, four-speaker audio and a teen driver system. The teen driver system allows parents to set volume controls, reduce maximum driving speed and set safety reminders. The SLT trim offers dual-zone climate control, leather upholstery, heated seats and more. The Denali, the highest-level trim offers premium audio, navigation and a range of driver assistance features, along with a whole lot more. Among the driver assistance features included are lane keeping assist, parking sensors and forward collision warning.

Drivers will be particularly impressed by the Sierra’s performance. The base Sierra features 4.3-liter V6 engine that generates 285 horsepower and provides the vehicle with robust acceleration. It also offers some rather impressive fuel economy ratings, getting 18 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway. On top of this there are two optional V8 engines that are even more powerful. One of those engines is a 5.3-liter V8 that generates 355 horsepower, while the other is a 420 horsepower, 6.2-liter V8.
