2019 Chevy Blazer

First introduced in 1969, this American classic was pulled in 2005. Now its long-awaited return is upon us. The car industry is filled with gleeful anticipation for the 2019 Chevy Blazer all-new model returning from prolonged hiatus! This crossover has shed its boxy design and is well-situated to take on the Jeep Cherokee and Ford Edge as it reenters this popular market segment. The new look is totally unique, with the manufacturer hailing the sporty Camaro as its source for design inspiration. The most noticeable shared design elements include the oversized split grille and the same headlight styling.

The interior design also borrows quite heavily from the restyled Camaro and offers an upscale and sporty vibe. One of the exciting options is a panoramic sunroof that cements the Blazer as a modern-day offering that's not stuck in the past. There is wireless charging available as an option at any trim level, however, if you are looking for some of the interior elements that come standard on a lot of other vehicles, you will have to upgrade to the Blazer's Premium trim. Heated outboard rear seats, Adaptive Cruise Control, Rear Camera Mirror, and a hands-free liftgate are all standard at this trim level.Cargo capacity is middle of the road for the compact SUV range, offering 64.2 cubic feet when the seats are folded down. There is also a cargo and rail fence available as an optional feature. If you are looking for towing capacity, the 2019 Chevy Blazer also offers the option for a Hitch View ad-n that provides you with a top-down view of your trailer hitch.

There are two engine options available: the standard 2.5-litre four-cylinder and the 3.6-litre V6. The former provides 193hp and 188 pound-feet of torque, while the latter gives you a horsepower of 305 and 269 pound-feet of torque. They both have nine-speed auto transmissions and direct fuel injection. All-wheel and four-wheel-drive options are available and all trim levels come standard with the Traction Select feature that allows drivers to easily alter the vehicles drive mode depending on the weather and road conditions. The AWD models are also able to disconnect from the rear axle to utilize FWD capabilities when AWD is not needed. The base trim starts at $28,800.
