The 2019 Nissan Rogue is a little ways away. As one of the most popular compact SUVs on the market, expectations are exceedingly high for the new 2019 model. But from what we are hearing about it, the new Rogue is shaping up to be one of the best SUVs of the year, once again. With possible new engine options, new features and tons of other cool things to look forward to, 2019 may be the best time to pick up a Nissan Rogue for yourself. Still, the Rogue may not be for everyone, so read on to learn more.
When is comes to specs, the Rogue has a lot to offer. The most popular engine to-date is the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 170 horsepower. This engine is expected to return along with the 2.0-liter four-cylinder hybrid powertrain with electric motor. That generates up to 176 horsepower. However, some experts are expected some new options from Nissan – hopefully, a turbocharged engine of some kind for a beefier driving experience. As for fuel economy, the hybrid version of the Rogue isn’t likely to exceed 33 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway but it’s gas engine could improve.
As for features, drivers can expect many of the same features from the 2018 model to carry over for 2019. An infotainment system with smartphone integration, four-speaker audio and satellite radio. Safety features likely to be included are blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning, automatic braking and perhaps adaptive cruise control. With seating for up to five passengers, the Rogue is a great choice for small families but if you don’t need all those seats, you can get up to 70 cubic feet of space with the seats folded down.
