I Love Hot Tubs and Am Thinking of Buying One. Should I?

Hot tubs are a great way to relax and even have significant therapeutic value for relieving sore, overworked or injured muscles. Having a hot tub at home is the dream of many people who would like the convenience of 24/7 accessibility and privacy, but owning a hot tub isn't for everyone. When focusing on the benefits of having access to their own hot tub, many people overlook the negatives, which can be a costly mistake.

When considering whether or not to buy a hot tub, you'll need to make sure you've evaluated all the costs and time that will be involved in purchasing, setting up and maintaining the hot tub, as well as do

some research to find the hot tub that works best for your needs and available space. If you aren't a homeowner, you'll need to get written authorization from your landlord before installing a hot tub, as many rental homes don't allow them. Renters and homeowners alike will need to make sure the proper power source is available, or hire a reputable electrician to do the wiring before you bring the hot tub home.
